About Us
Pawling Community Services, Inc. (PCS) was founded in April, 2009 by Kathy Kovalsky and Dolores Ragsdale. The original purpose of the organization was to provide high-quality School-Age Childcare (before and after school) to students enrolled in Pawling Elementary School. At the request of Joseph Sciortino, Superintendent of the Pawling Central School District, PCS developed and implemented an after-school program,
ACEkids!, for the 2009-2010 school year. ACEkids! offers classes in Art, Culture, and the Environment to elementary students in schools in Pawling and the surrounding communities. We look forward to launching our ACEteens! program for middle school students in October, 2010. PCS is also pleased to sponsor Progress4Pawling , a community-based initiative formed to create an environment where Pawling children grow up safe and healthy, hopeful of the future, resourceful, creative and respectful.
