This semester’s Program begins on Tuesday, October 12th. Make-up classes will be arranged by the instructor. Please check with your instructor for exact dates.

How to Register:

Registration for classes is open to all children enrolled in grades kindergarten through 12th. Students DO NOT have to be enrolled in the Pawling Central School District to attend this program nor do they have to be residents of the district.

You must complete a separate registration form for each class, and for each child in your family you wish to register. Send a separate check for each class selected as well as a separate check for extended supervision.

All checks should be made payable to PAWLING COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC.
No fees will be refunded after the first class

Please mail your registration forms promptly since many classes have limited enrollments. Therefore, registration is on a first-come (and paid), first-serve basis.

If a class is cancelled due to insufficient registration, you will be notified and your check will be returned. YOU MAY ASSUME YOUR CHILD IS REGISTERED FOR CLASS IF YOU DO NOT HEAR FROM US. WE WILL NOT CONTACT YOU FOR ANY OTHER REASON. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER CLASSES BEGIN.

Pick-up:

Your child's safety is of paramount concern to us; therefore, we ask that children be picked up outside the classroom promptly by parent or parent designee (in writing). No child will be permitted to leave the building alone.

If you will be delayed picking up your child, or need to get a message to your child during the program hours, please call us at 855-2162 and a member of the Supervision Team will return your call.

Late Pick-up Fee: First 5 minutes - no charge. For each 5 minutes thereafter, parents will incur a $5.00 charge every 5 minutes, which is payable at time of pickup. Children with unpaid late fees may not attend class until the balance is paid in full.

Program Calendar:

Classes Will Begin October 12th!!

The Program follows the Pawling Central School District calendar and will not operate when school is closed for holidays or snow days. Classes will NOT be held on Superintendent Conference Days. However, classes will be held on half-days.

EMERGENCY CLOSING: In case of a last minute class cancellation, every attempt will be made by your child's instructor to contact you by phone. However, if contact cannot be made, your child will be supervised until the regularly scheduled class ending time. You may also check for cancellations on www.cancellations.com

In the event that the Pawling Central School District closes due to inclement weather, classes will also be cancelled.

Program Policy: The director of the After-School Program reserves the right to remove any child from a Program class where his/her behavior is disruptive to the instruction being given. Note: The After-School Program, while operating under the auspices of the Pawling Central School District, is not part of the school district. If your child is a student at Pawling Elementary School (PES), it is neces¬sary to notify both your child's classroom teacher as well as the PES main office in writing, that your child is enrolled in the Program. Include the name of the class and the day or days of the week your child will be attending in your note.

We would like to remind our parents that the After-School Program, while sponsored by Pawling Community Services, is totally self-supporting. All fees collected are used solely for the operation of the Program. No refunds will be given after classes begin. If you have any questions concerning these policies, or anything related to the After-School Program, please leave a message for the Director at 855-2162 and she will call you back.
